Understanding how we manage everyday interactions with each other including conflict can help clients to build more meaningful and lasting relationships as well as manage challenging interactions they may encounter, whether that be with a partner, a friend, work colleague or family member.
Her sessions are designed to:

Learn to communicate in new ways that will break through difficult habits.

Develop conflict resolution strategies to allow her clients break the cycle of blame, become less frustrated, angry and emotionally withdrawn which if left untreated can become significant predictors for relationship dissolution.

Explore your family of origin to assist you in better understanding why you may find it difficult to express emotional vulnerability such as fear of rejection or ridicule.

Identify the issues that are occurring and the affect those problems are having on the relationship and the individual. This helps to identify the cycle where conflict is expressed.

Address primary emotional responses in a safe space to create a more secure bond and develop trust within oneself - both prerequisites for establishing and maintaining close connections. It is important that clients affirm and validate that their emotions and responses are legitimately understandable in the context of their experience.

These sessions are designed to help reframe or see your problem(s) from a different perspective by promoting identification and understanding of your own needs and wants and acknowledging emotions such as fear, shame and hurt. In doing so, you can build solid foundations from which to move relationships in a healthier, more positive direction as well as identify and reduce negative interaction patterns.
